Finding Emails Easily in Gmail
Gmail is my favorite web email. It’s sleek, fast and it’s got tons of cool themes that you can use to style your client the way you want. However, given that Google is a search company, one thing that people forget is the power of Google search within Gmail. Let’s find out how easily you can search for messages that you may have forgotten about.
Gmail has a very powerful search engine that helps you find thing where every you may of categorized the email. Say for example, you want to display all items with the label of Apple. That may sound like a simple task of just clicking your label – however its easier than that – just type into the search panel, label: Apple – and there you have it!
Now, say that you can find your desired result – but you that you wanted to find a email that contained the word “Hello” and you think that it may be in your Sent box. Have no fear – just type the phrase sent: hello, and it will search your sent box for all email with the word “hello”.
But alas, you cannot your find the email you wanted. Never fear! Google has a search filer for that! You can use the in: anywhere followed by the search item to search across all folder and labels to try to find the email you want.
